Greetings to all of our St. Isaac Jogues families.

Winter Registration is officially open and we are excited to announce av new sport and payment option this year. 

This winter we are offering a Co-ed Indoor Soccer option for students in grades 1st though 4th.   Students in grades 3rd and 4th will be able to play in BOTH Soccer AND Basketball if they wish. 

Please note that K-2 Basketball will be an option again this year but will be part of the Spring Registration that will be opened around January since that league typically starts in March. 

There is also a new payment option this year.  As you know, it is crucial for us to have an accurate head count of everyone intending to play so that we know what teams we can and can’t field in time to report them to CYO downtown by their October 17th deadline.  This is why our registration will only be open until Sunday October 12th.  We understand that this date is not far off so rather than having to pay right away during the registration process you can now choose an option to complete registration but have the payment to your credit card delayed until November 9th just before practices can officially start.  You will still have to enter credit card data to complete registration but the payment will not be charged until November 9th.  This way we can hopefully get everyone registered sooner so we have accurate number to report to CYO but allow you to delay payment. 

In addition to this new payment option, we also want to stress that we believe every child should have the chance to play sports regardless of the families circumstances.  If you are facing any challenges that might make this difficult please don't hesitate to reach out to Athletic Director Able Sanchez to discuss options.  Able can be reached at 586-206-6995 or via email at asanchez@saintisaacjogues.com.  

 

We ask that you register as soon as possible using the link at the bottom of this page and choose your payment option during that process. 

To be eligible to play St. Isaac Jogues CYO sports your child must fulfill one of the following:

 

    1.  Be a student at St. Isaac Jogues School

    2.  Be a St. Isaac Jogues Parishioner attending Religious Education classes at SIJ or one of the surrounding Catholic parishes

    3.  Attend school or religious education classes at one of the surrounding Catholic parishes without that specific sport.

 

Participants must agree to abide by all CYO and St. Isaac Jogues rules and regulations as they relate to sportsmanship and conduct.

Registration is not considered complete until:

 

1.  Registration payment option has been selected and checkout completed.

2.  Physical Form: you can print out the MHSAA physical form on our website, or use one from your physician's office - This form must be dated after April 15 of the current school year (2024) and you need to bring a copy of physical to turn in at your child's first practice/tryout time. No participation of any kind will be allowed until your child's physical is on file, per CYO policy.

 

We need counts to be able to:

-Submit your child’s team for registration to downtown AOD/CYO offices.

-Create practice and game schedules.

-Order adequate supplies and equipment for the number of teams registered.

 

Once we have final numbers by October 12th, we will be able to set our teams:

Boys CYO Basketball                           

Girls CYO Basketball                        

3rd/4th Grade Instructional Basketball                   

3rd /4th Grade Co-ed Indoor Soccer

1st/2nd Grade Co-ed Indoor Soccer       

SIJ Winter Cheer
